We are incredibly honoured to share that members of the Aberafan Shopping Centre team have been awarded the King’s Coronation Medal for their long-standing service as Ambulance Community First Responders.
Chris Morgan MBE (Centre Manager), Lee Dunkley (Service Manager), and Scott Beynon (Site Supervisor) were privileged to be presented with both the medal and a commemorative coin by the Association of Ambulance Chief Executives—a truly humbling recognition of their commitment to supporting emergency services and our local community.
Volunteering as Community First Responders has been both a responsibility and an honour, ensuring we can provide critical care in those vital first moments before paramedics arrive.
This is award is not just a personal achievement, but a testament to the dedication of all CFRs across the country who give their time to help others in their moments of need.
