Armed Forces Festival Day

An amazing day was marked at Aberafan Shopping Centre on Saturday 26th October, in partnership with the Local Authority, Ministry of Defence and the Royal British Legion, as the Neath Port Talbot Armed Forces Festival flag raising ceremony was held in-centre.

In attendance were the Lord Lieutenant, High Sheriff, Mayor and Mayoress, plus the Leader and Chief Executive. It was a pleasure to see other dignitaries and a great crowd to support this important event.
